When you place an order, our checkout provider (Snipcart) collects the information needed to fulfill it: your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, and details of the items you purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe; your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our site or visible to us. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address (and name, if provided). If you contact us by email, we keep the correspondence. If you leave a comment on our blog, we collect the data shown in the comment form along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

We use your information to process and ship orders, send order confirmations and shipping notifications, respond to inquiries, send our newsletter to subscribers who have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email), and maintain records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We share data only with the services that make the store work: Snipcart (checkout and order management), Stripe (payment processing), our shipping carriers (name and address, to deliver your order), our email service (newsletter delivery), and Google Analytics (anonymous site-usage statistics). Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy.

The site uses cookies for the shopping cart (so your cart contents persist while you shop), for analytics (to understand how visitors use the site), and, if you leave a blog comment, to optionally remember your details for the next comment. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the cart may not function without them.

Order records are retained as long as required for tax, accounting, and warranty purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Blog comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized.
