Sustainability

The leather we use complies with rigorous sustainability standards. Leather is a by-product to begin with — cattle are never raised for their hides. Beyond conventional processing, our collections are produced to an even higher standard, carried under the ZERO Label.

The ZERO Label applies to the entire production process. Tanning is completely chromium-free and complies with current environmental guidelines, placing a far lighter burden on the environment — with the welcome side effect of deeper, more intense color. In place of traditional methods, hides are air-dried, which improves quality while sharply reducing energy use. A minimal finish lets the distinctive grain of every individual hide stand out. Compared to traditional processing, this method saves up to 80% in energy and chemicals. The top finish of the ZERO Label, ‘ECO’, is based on natural extracts and is GOTS certified.

Our commitment extends past the hide itself through ZERO WASTE: after hides are processed into tiles and panels, the residual material is transformed into entirely new, high-quality products rather than discarded. Our Mosaic and Braid collections are born from this program — proof that sustainability and luxury belong together.
